We are looking for an effective and experienced Senior Credit Control Officer with a proven track record, to join our busy Credit Control department. This role will involve working as part of a close-knit team to ensure all revenue is collected on time. You will be responsible for providing support with the day-to-day management and leadership of the Credit Control team and its processes.
Please note that this role is office based in Bournemouth.

- Previous experience in a Collections/Credit Control role including exposure/experience with the litigation process.
- Leadership skills/prior experience leading a team.
- A creative approach to problem solving and overcoming challenges.
- Effective conflict resolution skills.
- Strong organisation skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- The ability to be self-motivated and to motivate others.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Ability to interact with both internal and external stakeholders
What would I be doing as a Senior Credit Control Officer?
- Pursuing customers via telephone, email and letter to process card payments, sending suspension/cease notices and organising payment plans.
- Suspension and ceasing of services for continued non-payment.
- Reviewing accounts, preparing files to send across to our solicitors and responding to Defences.
- Updating and maintaining legal reports for senior stakeholders.
- Attending quarterly meetings alongside the Credit Control Operations Manager and Head of Billing & Credit Control to discuss the case files with our Solicitors and answer any queries regarding them.
- Leading by example to achieve optimum output and being an escalation point for the rest of the team.
